Nations and corporations are racing toward deep-sea mining. But the deep ocean is not an empty abyss; it is a vast, living web, rich with unseen species and essential to Earth’s balance.
Research shows that deep-sea mining would devastate these ecosystems, worsen climate change, and push an ocean billions depend on to the brink of collapse. Mining the deep-sea for a “sustainable” transition is a grave greenwashing lie.
